Our products

Roof Trusses

Designed in the factory, sheltered from the elements, from maximum quality wood (# 1 and 2 sec), the plans are made in accordance with the standards of the Truss Plate Institute of Canada and the Building Code of Canada. The team operates equipment that aims for quality, precise cuts, perfectly tight joints, well-stapled plates for ease of installation on the job site.

Open web floor joist

At 11 7/8 inches tall, this product is offered in lengths ranging from 3 to 21 feet. Custom-made joists are manufactured under special orders. We also offer edge joists, low walls and stirrups. The joists are carefully wrapped to maximize the quality of the product when it arrives on the job site. They offer a large nailing surface that makes it easy to attach to the sub-floor. Adjustable up to 12 inches, they are designed to simplify the installation of wires and conduits through the floor.

LVL Beams

The LVL beams that we distribute are proving to be particularly advantageous products for residential, commercial and agricultural construction projects. Reduce the number of load-bearing walls, create larger open interior spaces and replace steel and lumber very favorably. These products are particularly useful as floor beams, roof beams, columns and stair stringers.

Profile

Established in Rouyn-Noranda since the 1980s, the company is recognized for its roof trusses as well as its adjustable openwork floor joists. In 1994 Martin Deschamps bought the business from his uncles with a partner. In 2000, they are thinking big with the construction of a factory of more than 12,000 square feet. Becoming the sole owner in 2007, Martin reviewed the strategic direction of his company From 6 to 28 employees, the company has always evolved. Both in terms of its infrastructure, as well as equipment through continuing training. Today the team has a solid core of people with over 15 years of service. This is how in 2012 he took action with the construction of a factory to manufacture exclusively floor joists. In 2015, Martin's children, Mathieu and Bénédict became shareholders of the organization. The emphasis is on productivity, the importance of a strong culture, innovation and returning to core beliefs and values.
